Welcome!
Our little group of friends has been racing under the name SimHookup since 2009. We’ve all probably raced elsewhere or alone before that but here we have our own little playground where we keep in touch and hook up to race. We’re always looking for more people to join us and race against. To get started just follow these steps:
- Register
- Start posting
- Join for fun, practice, and racing events
To elaborate a little:
- Click on Forums and then Register to get a name on the forums.
- Start posting where you want. We suggest introducing yourself in the Introductions forum. Your first post will not show up until we approve it. This won’t take long but is a necessary measure to keep spam at zero. After you have 1 approved post you will no longer need approval.
- If our race servers are open you are welcome to join at any time. Sometimes we will be on doing practice for upcoming races, and especially during organized events the servers may be locked. If you sign up for those events you will get access to the password in a protected forum section.
Most people already go by good racing etiquette and sportsmanship. If you’re new or just need to read up on the guidelines, look in our league racing forum.
The real reason we’re here is to have a good time! Follow the above steps and we’ll talk to you soon.
