SHU Crew pops the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca

For the third event in the season the SHU Crew traveled to sunny California and the legendary Laguna Seca Raceway. Sporting tremendous elevation changes, the infamous Corkscrew complex and 2.24 sinewy miles of challenging track make this one of the world’s great circuits.

Situated on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, the drivers were torn between enjoying the relaxing party atmosphere and focusing on the races at hand. Clear skies and dry weather with a refreshing off shore breeze made for ideal race conditions all weekend.

The GT Sport series took to the track on Saturday and provided the crew with good hard racing and lots of close action. Then on Sunday the Formula Masters showed their stuff in exciting form as various strategies were employed to take advantage of the mandatory pit window. The pictures speak for themselves in what proved to be a fun-filled weekend with great racing for all..
