When SHU started up with only a few drivers, we could only hope that it would grow to the point where competitive racing with friends would be possible. The idea came up to start a rain season in low-tech sports cars and allow all driving aids to make it accessible for every level of skill out there. Over the course of the last 2 months we have found and invited more drivers to the grid and welcomed them to the crew.
Yesterday our first season came to an end. For now, it means the end of rain. A new sky, a new horizon, with higher tech sports cars, and more room to apply the acquired skills. Driving in rain has been challenging and has been a deciding factor in quite a few events. It trained us to be more cautious, and showed the importance of consistency. Next week SHU goes to Curitiba to kick off the WTCC season. December 12th. We hope to continue what we started with even more fun!
If you would like to join us for the next 8 week season, please feel invited. All you need to do is let us know which car you’ll be driving. Register on the forums, and check this thread.
Thanks for racing with us!
